Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy is a very gentle non-invasive hands on therapy. Fully clothed and with a very light touch, the therapist will in stillness listen to the deep rhythms and motions in the craniosacral system  and facilitates the restoration of balance in the body.

Our bodies have an original blueprint of health and craniosacral therapy helps the body to return to its original health

It can be extremely helpful and a supportive therapy in illnesses, trauma, emotional and chronic conditions

Babies are fully conscious and their experiences from conception , pregnancy and birth are being hold as an implicit memory in their bodies. They are also born with incredible mechanisms to self-correct a lot of these compression forces that they have experienced during birth and will be doing well in the end

Sometimes they are so overwhelmed by these experiences that they need a little help and support and as Benjamin Shield said: “ If we are able to correct the lesion patterns that may begin as early as in utero, patterns that are created during the birthing process, or even postnatal,  we are able to forestall many conditions that may plague the individual throughout life. We can assist in behavioral and personality problems, sensory disorders, and structural problems.

As a craniosacral therapist we listen and are present to the baby and how they express their stories of stress, trauma and hurt. When the baby felt heard great healing can take place on a physical or emotional level. It is such an honor to work with these sentient beings

Babies we see in practice with lesion patterns and unresolved issues are presenting with:

  • Reflux

  • Excessive crying

  • Sucking difficulties

  • Not latching

  • Torticollis

  • Plagiocephaly

  • Colic

  • Constipation

  • Bonding issues

Therapy is always done in the presence of the mother or father or both.

Craniosacral Therapy can be very supportive in the mothers journey to fall pregnant , during pregnancy and preparation for birth

It helps to clear all emotional issues form your own birth stories, trauma and issues around sexuality and birth

During the Postnatal period it helps mothers to relax and integrate their experience of the birth.  It helps to connect and bond with their baby

It is also extremely helpful in their recovery process after birth and help to rebalance the hormones and physical soreness and pain. Also helpful for the side effects of an epidural
